Just a Kid From Greensboro
In 1968, the Robinson family welcomed their ninth child: Mark Keith Robinson. Mark grew up in poverty and struggled with his abusive, alcoholic father. Faith in God kept him going.
Blue Collar Family Man
Mark got out of his broken home, met his wife Yolanda, and worked a variety of blue collar jobs, primarily in furniture factories. As an adult, he took night classes and earned a college degree.
Conservative Activist
Mark began paying attention to politics. His factory job got shipped overseas. His city tried to ban guns. He spoke at City Council in opposition to the gun ban, and it went viral.
Lieutenant Governor
Mark Robinson then launched a grassroots campaign for Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina. In a shock to the political establishment, he won, and was sworn in as the first black Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina in 2021.
Governor Nominee
Mark Robinson continued to be a proud voice for North Carolina conservatives, and earned the Republican nomination for Governor in 2024. Mark endured what he called a "high-tech lynching" by the Left & the political establishment in an attempt to stop him from becoming Governor.
